While doing my usual weekend routine, going around Dubai – searching for nice spots to take photos or spend time alone; I passed by Jitaku in Dubai Marina Area. Having been in Dubai Marina on several occasions, I am actually familiar with the restaurants around (never tried them all 😉 ) there. However, this Japanese themed restaurant caught my attention. I didn’t want to go inside without checking their menu first, so I decided to check zomato. To my surprise, they didn’t have any details there.
Then I decided to approach the Pinay staff encouraging people to visit their restaurant. She was very friendly and explained that they have just opened in the area. It was around 5 or 6 pm when I was there and good thing coz they had 20% discount during that time. Without thinking twice, I told the lady staff that I wanted to eat. I was craving for Ramen at that time and it was perfect for a cold weather.
The interiors were okay. Obviously, since this is a Japanese restaurant, the decorations are all Japanse-inspired.
I was all alone inside the restaurant. It was very obvious that not so many were aware of this restaurant. What I don’t like inside the restaurant is that people, keep passing by. The inside of the restaurant connects to other establishment in the building. If you’ve been to Dubai Marina, you’d know what I’m talking about. It was just bothersome to see random people pass by and sometimes stare at you. Nevertheless, I like the designs and how friendly the people were.
I ordered Miso Ramen since I love Miso soup. It was a good idea that I ordered that because it was just great. The miso taste stood out and the chicken was rightly cooked. It was already a complete meal for me. The ingredients complement each other, making it a rally good ramen. 🙂
