That’s why here in our region you’d see a lot of people selling delicacies made of bananas. You can find grilled bananas (ginanggang), fried bananas with sugar (maruya/bananacue), fried bananas coated with flour, sweetened bananas (minatamis na saging), banana cake, boiled bananas, etc around the city. Recently a newly opened restaurant surprised everyone with its concept. They serve famous dishes with a twist… a banana twist. That’s why they call their restaurant “SAGING REPABLIK”. Saging Repablik opened its doors to the public on June 27 this year. They immediately became famous because of this unique concept. They also became the talk of different social media accounts…

The create your bananacue station is one of the reasons why people keep coming back here. This is for only fifty five (P55) pesos. First, choose your own bananacue. Second, choose your dip (caramel, chocolate, white chocolate). Third, choose three toppings. Lastly, check the outcome. 😉
Another unique thing about this restaurant is their souvenir shop. They sell shirts, bags, bracelets, mugs, blouses, etc. Before you go home, you can check their shop and bring something for your loved one (especially if you are a tourist). 😉
