Last Saturday (May 10) Me and my friends attended a Jollibee event dubbed as the grandest picnic event ever ~ The Jollibee Family Bee Day! It was held in Crocodile Park Concert Grounds. We went there before 2:00PM so that we could find a good place to stay. This event was held simultaneously at the Quirino Grandstand in Metro Manila, Bayanihan Park in Pampanga, Nuvali football grounds in Laguna, and Plaza Independencia in Cebu. The event was highlighted by performances of Jollibee and Friends, Imago, Slater Young and Maja Salvador. There were also a lot of activities around the field.
Me and my friend Emily arrived first. We got there taking KOMIKO Taxi. There were already a lot of people around and enjoying the place. Most of the people who went there were families. It’s so nice to see children having fun with their parents. After a few minutes of waiting my other friend ~ Pia and her daughter Roni came. Roni is my goddaughter. We registered first and we were given a mat and an umbrella. We were also advised to place our mat near the stage so that we could see clearly the performers. Ms. Chele from Jollibee was so accommodating and very funny.
Let me show you how I enjoyed my first Jollibee Family Bee Day. Check the pictures below. 😉
I like how the organizers made sure that everyone was safe. There were a lot of security personnel around the area.
The Marshals were very enthusiastic when picnic-goers enter the grounds. 😉
There were also different booths where you can buy snacks.
This booth is the most important. We need to make sure that everyone’s safety is our top priority. Children could be really playful and might end up getting hurt. Having this tent around made a lot of mothers secure.
Before you reach the picnic area, there were different areas where you can have your pictures taken. I like this shot coz’ it shows that age really doesn’t matter when you just want to have fun. Jollibee is not just for kids but for all ages.
FAMFIE… Or Family Selfie… I think it’s time we stop thinking too much of ourselves and consider the other members of the family. Jollibee is promoting family bonding and this FAMFIE photo booth is one good way to encourage one another to show how we love our family. 😀
This mom couldn’t just hold herself and wanted to take pictures of all her children. She must be one really proud mom of her kids. Her children sure had fun during that day. 😉
This giant slide was very famous among children that day. Almost all of the children want to climb and slide down. I love seeing the smile of these children. PRICELESS!
Before the performance of our special guests, we did the ever famous “BRING ME” game. Everyone was very participative even the adults.
I, myself even joined this game and won. That’s why I was able to take this picture on stage. I was the first person to bring a red pen. 😀
And this is what I got. A superman toy ~ of course I had to give this to my goddaughter. 😉
The first performer was IMAGO! They sang several songs and the audience sang with them.
While IMAGO was performing, the people were also listening and singing. It was already drizzling that time but it didn’t stop us from staying and enjoying the event.
Some people were also busy eating while enjoying the music.
Maja and Slater stole the limelight from Imago when they arrived. The people suddenly rushed towards them. I was lucky that I was near the area when they came.
After a few minutes of their arrival, Maja went to stage and sing & dance.
A lot of people went near the stage just to take her pictures. 😉
Maja also danced with Jollibee. They also did a dance showdown. After their showdown, Maja hugged Jollibee. Sweet! 😉
While Maja and Slater were performing a lot of people want to go to the stage but were not allowed. 😦
During the program, the staff started distributing the food.
Before the event ended I took the chance to have different pictures taken.. Me… My Friends.. The Bloggers.. 😀
Me while Imago was performing. 😉
We definitely had fun and hope to do this again next year. Kudos to Jollibee for having this kind of event. Nowadays, its very rare to see different families gather together and have fun. The event had a lot of loopholes but I hope that next year it would be better and more organized.
