Bulgogi Brothers Davao – Worth a Try!

Bulgogi Brothers

I always love eating korean food.  I think I have almost tried eating at all the Korean Restaurants in Davao City (except for two ~ I think LoL).  Just recently one new Korean restaurant opened at Sm Lanang Premier ~ Bulgogi Brothers.   This Bulgogi Brothers branch will be the first in Davao and the 5th in the Philippines. It has 36 branches in South Korea.

According to WIKI the word Bulgogi (불고기) literally means “fire meat” in Korean, and is derived from the Pyongan dialect. The equivalent word in the Seoul dialect isneobiani. It refers to marinated meat, cooked using traditional grilling techniques such as gridirons or perforated dome griddles that sit on braziers, unlike deep frying or boiling in water. The term is also applied to variations such as dak bulgogi (made with chicken) or dwaeji bulgogi (made with pork), depending on what kind of meat and corresponding seasoning are used.

The best thing about eating at Bulgogi Brothers is their SERVICE. Yes, as you enter the store you will be welcomed by a crew with her wide smile.   And as you take a seat , the waiters will automatically show their menu and explain the dishes that they serve.   Then they cook it.  While waiting for your food the side dishes will be served first.  Again, they will explain what the side dishes are and the nutrients you get by eating them.  Amazing! I actually haven’t experienced this kind of service at any Korean restaurants in Davao city.

When we tried the dishes, they are actually good!  It’s worth every cent you spend in the restaurant.  More than the food I just really love the service.  Sometimes, as a customer you would rather feel special and be treated like a royalty than tasting delicious food.  I am not saying that their food is not delicious but the main reason why we keep coming back is how they treat us there.

Here are some of the food that they serve there and we ordered.
