MAGELLAN’s CROSS (Cebu City)

magellan's crossWhen you visit Cebu City, you should never forget to visit “Magellan’s Cross”!

Magellan’s Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese, and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines.  Ferdinand Magellan is the one who discovered the Philippines. He found the Philippines in 1521.

Magellan’s cross can be found just next to Sto. Niño church.
